The Megawatt offer

We offer a number of different engagement activities that can be adapted to suit your organisations needs. These range from individual school visits to full bespoke outreach programmes:

STEM Outreach Programme

​Partner with us to deliver a bespoke STEM Outreach programme, where we train your STEM Ambassadors, co-ordinate school visits, supply and train teachers, and track the impact the programme is having. Provide STEM Ambassadors from your organisation with the resources they need to deliver a fantastic classroom activity using Megawatt, whilst sharing their experiences working in your organisation.

Support schools with workshops

Sponsor the Megawatt team to visit schools in your local area. They can deliver a Megawatt session, a careers talk with a focus on your organisation, train teachers to use Megawatt and provide them with their own sets of Megawatt to use for years to come.

Across all our activities, we offer branding opportunities on Megawatt and on our website. Further bespoke offerings are available for your organisation to promote your STEM Outreach activities.

Megawatt is not just for students! We also run Megawatt sessions within organisations, introducing important energy topics to your employees and hosting debates and talks on all things energy and climate change. Be like Magnox!

Magnox Ltd recently relaunched their STEM Outreach programme by partnering with Megawatt. We trained STEM Ambassadors across 3 sites to use Megawatt, with 15 school sessions taking place in 2022.

This provides Magnox with a fantastic opportunity to connect with their local schools, engaging students on the topic of energy and climate change while sharing the important work they do decommissioning the UK’s nuclear power plants.
